Winner of the Herbal Roots Zine is....

Thank you so very much to the artistic and creative herbalist Kristine Brown for donating one of her Herbal Roots Zines to this giveaway. 

Kristine is the creator, writer and illustrator of the Herbal Roots Zine. This monthly pdf publication is aimed at teaching kids about herbs in an enjoyable way. Each month focuses on one single herb. There are stories, songs, activities, crafts, etc. 

Technically this publication is for kids, but I'll tell you what, I LOVE this zine myself. 

I get the monthly subscription and when it pops into my inbox on the last Monday of every month I quickly download it and immediately begin perusing the great content. I adore the songs and the crafts are pretty awesome. I've been inspired to dye silk scarves using plants, create burdock stepping stones and make all sorts of medicinal herbal creations. I mentor a 9 years old girl  who literally jumps with excitement at each new issue. Her favorite part is the stories and we have a great time singing the songs together.
